Study Information
Are you a parent or caregiver of a child under the age of 18?
We know parenting has been challenging during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Are you experiencing signs of anxiety or depression such as worry, trouble sleeping, low mood, or low energy?
If so, we want to help. We are a team of researchers from the University of New Brunswick, Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia Health, and Health PEI.
You may qualify to participate in our research study. For this study, you would complete an online intervention for parents with anxiety and/or depression. The intervention is called Tranquility, more information on how Tranquility works can be found below.
As part of the intervention, you would follow along through nine online modules that would help you learn about anxiety and depression and help build skills and strategies to help you cope with these mental health challenges. The intervention usually takes about 12 weeks to complete.
You could choose to work through the intervention on your own or with the support of a coach.
If you choose to work with a coach, sessions can be arranged for a day of the week and time of day that works for you (including daytime, evenings, or weekends). You can communicate with your coach by phone, video chat, or in-app messaging.
There is no cost to participate.
For more information or to sign up, click Start Now below. You will be asked to review a detailed informed consent form, complete a 15-minute survey about your mental health, and then will be able to start the intervention right away.
